Located in Pembroke Pines, Florida, Learn at Your Own Pace is a Home Education Instructional Program serving homeschooled students in Pre-K through 6th grade. We provide a structured, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where students can grow academically, explore their interests, and develop a lifelong love of learning. We partner with parents and guardians to support each child’s educational journey through meaningful, individualized instruction and hands-on learning experiences tailored to their unique needs, abilities, and learning styles throughout the year.

Every child learns differently, and we embrace those differences. We meet students where they are academically and developmentally by providing individualized instruction, customized learning materials, adaptive activities, and meaningful experiences that reflect each child’s unique strengths, needs, interests, and learning style.
Building Confidence and Independence
We believe education should empower children both inside and outside the classroom. Beyond academic growth, we intentionally nurture confidence, communication, problem-solving, independence, and functional life skills. We create opportunities for students to discover their abilities, celebrate their progress, and develop the confidence to take on new challenges.
A Different Approach to Education
Learning doesn't look the same for every child, so our approach goes beyond traditional instruction. We integrate academics with hands-on exploration, sensory experiences, technology, visual supports, and evidence-based teaching strategies to create an engaging, flexible, and supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Our Academic Program
Our learning program operates Monday through Sunday, from 3 PM to 6 PM, offering homeschooling families flexible support through virtual instruction, face-to-face learning, or curriculum packets. We provide the resources, guidance, and structured educational support parents need to confidently support their children’s learning while maintaining the flexibility and benefits of a home education pathway. Our goal is to empower parents and help children learn, grow, and thrive.
At Learn at Your Own Pace, we provide individualized academic instruction and enrichment experiences for homeschooled students in Pre-K through 6th grade. Our academic program focuses on building strong foundations in literacy and mathematics while nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and independence.
Through personalized instruction, adaptive learning materials, hands-on activities, and developmentally appropriate teaching strategies, we meet students at their current academic levels and help them progress at a pace that supports their individual needs. Our program incorporates Florida-aligned academic standards, targeted reading and math interventions, and engaging enrichment opportunities that connect learning to real-world experiences.
We recognize that every child learns differently. Our supportive learning environment is designed to help students strengthen essential academic skills, develop confidence, and become more independent learners. Whether a student needs additional support with foundational concepts or opportunities to extend their learning, Learn at Your Own Pace provides meaningful experiences that encourage growth, celebrate progress, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
School Information
Schedule
Learn At Your Own Pace operates Monday through Sunday from 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, providing families with a flexible enrichment and learning experience in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Payment Schedule
Monthly tuition payments are before the 1st of each month. Tuition invoices are sent approximately two week before the payment due date to give families time to review and submit payment.

Our tuition structure provides families with the flexibility to choose the schedule that best meets their child’s educational and enrichment needs while maintaining a consistent, engaging learning experience throughout the year.

In accordance with Florida’s homeschooling regulations, parents remain the primary educators and are responsible for their child’s overall education. Our program complements home-based instruction by offering academic learning experiences and enrichment opportunities. We are not a private or public school, but rather a supportive community designed to enhance your homeschooling journey. Parents are responsible for all record-keeping and reporting requirements established by the State of Florida for homeschool students. Parents are also responsible for meeting all requirements associated with the Step Up for Students PEP and FES-UA scholarship programs.
